Francis Ogbonnaya

Francis Ogbonnaya advises and represents clients across a broad commercial practice, with a particular focus on maritime matters. He also handles corporate and commercial transactions, dispute resolution, debt recovery, property, family law, energy, and data protection work for the firm’s clients.

As Senior Associate, Francis carries significant responsibility for the firm’s litigation docket and client advisory work, from shaping case strategy and drafting the documents that carry real weight in a matter, to standing up for clients at the negotiating table and in court. Colleagues and clients alike know him for thinking clearly under pressure, cutting through complexity to find workable solutions, and never losing sight of the commercial realities driving a client’s decisions.

Francis is an active member of the Nigerian Bar Association and has a genuine interest in how legal technology can help the profession serve clients better.
